IRAQI MINISTER OF OIL VISITED WEST QURNA-2 OILFIELD

The minister, accompanied by senior MoO officials, Director General of Basra Oil Company Ihsan Ismaael and Managing Director of LUKOIL Mid-East Limited Marat Salikhov, examined West Qurna-2 production facilities and was briefed about implementation of the WQ-2 Final Development Plan, aimed at increasing oil production to 800 thousand bpd in 2025.
Mr. Al-Ghadhban expressed his appreciation to LMEL management for the latest achievements and instruct MoO officials to facilitate implementation of the Phase II of the West Qurna-2 project.
